Stay Tuned...

So due to Lori's recent post on her blog and my passion for fashion...I have decided to create a blog that are all my views on clothes! This may seem interesting because I am only a fifteen year old...soon to be sixteen, but I really will try to give good advice. I will apologize in advance if you do not agree with what it will say however, it is my opinion and I am really excited to get it started! If you have ways to make it better in the future when it is up, please let me know! I will get it up either tonight or tomorrow...so stay tuned for the URL that I will post on this blog for the new one!

3 of My FAVORITE Things...recently :)

1. Cheer Camp!!!!
Ok so this story starts off on a low note because I found out that because of the school switch for next year, we can't have cheer tryouts until the second week of school which I think is August 30th. Yupp another time delayed! To bring it down another notch...I have EFY the same week as cheer camp that all of the Flag High girls are going to so I can't go! This is what disappointed me the most because I really want the skills that everyone else will have for tryouts in August. However, Mom said to check BYU camps to see if they still have space available. Guess what...they do! So I am going August 9th-11th to the BYU Cheer and Stunt Camp. I am so excited! They will teach all levels of stunting and have Cheer techniques but best of all they will have TUMBLING! It should be a blast!

2. EFY!
This Sunday I am driving up to Provo with Mom, Dad, and Summer Townsend for EFY! I have never been to Provo's EFY but I have heard it is one of the best ones to go to, so I am pretty stoked! I need the uplift that this camp brings and I am so excited to meet new people! Lastly but not at all least...Summer and I are going to be rooming together, so we are bringing lots of snacks and decorations for our room! I LOVE EFY!

3. Massage Envy :)
For Christmas this past year I asked for a massage and today I used the gift card! It was one of the best things I have felt in a long time! I received a full body deep tissue massage that blew my mind! Will be asking for another one for my birthday!

Videos...

Ok so I have this really fun video I want to post of Daniel and Trevor however, when I tried I just uploaded it straight from the camera itself. I started the loading process in the afternoon and at night when I checked it it still wasn't done! So I decided to leave it over night and of course when I checked it, it still wasn't done so if anyone would like to inform me in the form of steps on how to post a video, that would be fantastic!

Fun Things Lately

To start off this blog...this is a picture of Gian, the kid that Dan got to baptize and confirm. This is Lizards on his birthday with his Peach Popler...(Peach Cobbler:)

He actually did blow out all 29 in one quick blow! It was fantastic!
Haha yes the boots are still hard to get on
Dad killin' it on the wake board!
Me and Ken Dog!
The boys all jumped in the water to finish the lake trip...Daniel said he was surprised that he didn't feel icicles as he jumped in :)
We all had such a great time! Thanks Dad!

DELAYS!!!!

So some of you know that I am going to be trying out for Flag High Cheer. The try-outs were supposed to be this week however due to Signagua closing it was pushed back so that girls could decide if they wanted to go to Flag or Coco. This is the third time it has been delayed and my nerves get worse every week! I am so ready to just get them over with! So the try-out dates now are the 28th-30th of June.
Requirements (At least the ones I know of):
  • A sideline Cheer
  • Regular Cheer
  • 2 Jumps
  • Tumbling
  • Dance
  • Flexibility

Yes you have to learn all of these in the matter of the dates listed above. I have been working on my jumps and I think I am going to do a toe-touch and a pike jump. I think I will do fine on those. Tumbling...I have been doing for a while now and I can do a back hand spring however sometimes its not that consistent so that is the part I am most nervous for. The thing is I can't just choose not to do it because it is required if I want to make varsity cheer so I have to just throw it. I really hope I don't kill myself. As for the dance...I am trying to find the hidden genes of dancing that just have to be in the blood line somewhere. Yup wish me luck. Flexibility is what I am looking forward to the most because I can actually do it! Haha I am going to do my two side splits. Thank you for reading this and letting me stand on my soap box for a couple minutes. I am just hoping that my nerves will help me with like an adrenaline rush :)

Starting Now

I was honestly trying to fill whoever reads this in with everything that has happened this past year...which was when I stopped blogging however, each time I was about finished with this post I happened to press a wrong button or click the wrong thing ending with the elimination of each of the three tries of this post. So, I am just going to start from today and if you feel I need to fill you in on something just let me know as we go along.

Wildfires...some of you may have heard from the news or other sources that there have been some close calls concerning wildfires in Flagstaff. If you haven't, I will fill you in! Yesterday around 1:30 PM a man from California let some coals go unchecked from his camp fire which turned into a huge forest hire which was behind Little America Hotel. This one was called the Hardy Fire. No buildings were hurt or people but a couple of neighborhoods were evacuated and some were put on stand-by. This fire has yet to be contained.

At 11:00 AM today another fire was reported near Schultz Pass. A thousand homes have already been evacuated from neighborhoods west of Highway 89 like Timberline and Wupatki trail neighborhoods. Neighborhoods on the east side of this highway are on stand-by to be evacuated. No one knows how this one has been started however what really matters is the safety of everyone near the fires including the fire fighters so please keep these things in your prayers. Schultz Pass fire:

If you look at the last picture you can see the peaks in order to compare the size of the smoke with something you know. The worst part is that this is from our house and you can still see the smoke growing.

Well now that I have set such a happy mood...HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! I know that I am especially grateful for my dad today; I love him so much and I know that so many others do as well. I hope each of you has a great day!
